In March of 2020, Boston Women, Inc. was just weeks away from celebrating our 10th Anniversary event when our board of directors made the decision to postpone the tea due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and the subsequent state of emergency. The tea was postponed, and over the course of time, it was postponed, and postponed again.
We are delighted that finally, we are now fortunate to gather and honor the four women whose recognition is long overdue.

The “Woman Amongst Us” Awards was born from the desire to celebrate Women’s History Month and recognize the many women heroes of Boston’s past. Knowing that our sisters of yesterday would be applauding the women who walk amongst us today, we pay tribute to our honorees each year.
